We are proud to present Dale back from performing in Turkey and Germany. He’s got a terrific vocal range which allows him to entertain you with many varied singing styles. You’ll never be bored throughout Dale’s act and he’s always learning new material to broaden his already extensive repertoire; spanning from Michael Bublè to The Darkness, from the classic to the modern.

Dale is very keen to continue to improve his shows and always gives his audience the best performance he can, all be it with sophisticated swing or songs such as ‘Predicting a Riot’ at ‘The Gay Bar’ with ‘Sex on Fire’!

This young man is pure delight and not to missed here at The Poachers Pocket

A live solo performance with over 2 hours of pure Rolling Stones great Rock 'n' Roll.

A Stone Alone is the only solo Rolling Stones tribute act in the UK.

Billy Shears plays live Keith Richards style guitar ( a choice of 4 ) and imitates a good Mick on vocals!

Billy uses a full backing, put together in his own 16track studio, and mixed live through the same P.A. that is used at his gigs. This results in a sound that's like The Stones playing live!!

It's only rock'n'roll ........ but you'll like it!!!!

Irish/Dutch traditional folk band: You’ll have to arrive here in good time to get a seat – which is all that really needs to be said about their astounding range of musical instruments and supreme talent. Holding a solid line up for the past 12 years Coracle have had chart success with 2 albums and have now made and a soon to be released new album.

They’re just brilliant and you cannot fail to enjoy an excellent afternoon with great live entertainment.

Recently nationally acclaimed as a viral sensation.

Neil's additional 'banter' helps create a great atmosphere!

Be prepared to LISTEN, LAUGH, DANCE & ENJOY!

Started as a fill in project by Martin and Richard; both ex 'Toystore' and 'The Afterglow'. Gigging steadily for a couple of years and are about to record their first EP of original songs.

The Poachers Pocket is proud to welcome this talented female vocalist who covers a wide variety of songs; starting from the 80s up to the current chart music of today. She readily adjusts each set to suit the setting: For a more chilled venue Emma sings acoustic style songs and enjoys putting her own twist on them. For the more lively venues she sings very up tempo songs which regularly get the audience up and dancing.

Emma said the most nerve wracking moment of her, then 17 year old, life was her 2008 audition on the hit television talent show X-Factor. But she needn't have worried as won over the judges who took her onto appear at their boot camp. With a lovely mellow voice Emma is a pleasure to both see and hear.

A popular local female duo playing hits from the 60’s to current day. Charlotte Joyce and Rosey Hanner have been working as an act together for two years and played for many local pubs and clubs and also entertained at weddings and parties. Variety is a key point to the act ensuring that all tastes are catered for playing hits by Amy Winehouse to Dolly Parton and James Brown to Jessie J. You won’t be disappointed to see the girls as they are seasoned performers having both fronted successful bands in previous acts too. Charlotte is a professionally trained singer and pianist and Rosey has been working as a performer for many years too.

Their harmonies are astounding and, along to professional backing tracks, their quality of sound is as if listening to an original CD!. Revive are both visually and audibly beautiful, and will soon have you up on the dance floor grooving to their upbeat numbers along with relaxing to their sweet vocal tones. A really enjoyable act.

Named after Dean Koontz, the American horror writer, this freshly formed but individually seasoned professional duo is actually Mark Campling (Faith band) on guitar and our very own Ricci Reeve (see profile below) on vocals. Consistently amazing - great gigs every time; rock to pop. On point with every note - a superb duo mix not to be missed. The Koontz just give you a night to remember with their mix of every taste you'll enjoy performed by first class professionals. In a word - FABULOUS.

Sue Brooks is now regarded by some as one of the most exiting and versatile female vocal entertainers in the UK.

Her venues work includes the No.1 cabaret room and The Lakeside at Frimley Green. Sue has also worked supporting such acts as David Copperfield , The Drifters, The Wurzels and Bernie Clifton.

Julie won a national talent competition at the London Palladium at the age of 9 and has been a professional singer since the age of 16.

During her career she has made solo recordings and worked in television and radio. She has been performing live throughout the UK and overseas. Her friends were so impressed with her Debbie Harry sounding voice and looks and encouraged her to perform as a Blondie tribute act.  This suited Julie as Debbie Harry had been one of her musical inspirations, and she has been performing her solo Blondie tribute act since 2008.

Julie will also be performing a non stop set from her number one hit show of dance & pop.

A superb singing entertainer who really pulls in a crowd and gets you up on your feet dancing the night away.

He judges his audience well, and even gets in amongst you on the dance floor, with most of us (even the younger ones) knowing all the tunes if not all the words.

Tony delivers mostly solid rock 'n' roll, twist, jive and some great smoochy numbers too.

So if the '60s and '70s are your thing you you wont be disappointed.

Night Rollers Rock and Roll Band. These guys are so entertaining and get the audience up and dancing. The Band's grand finale is gob smacking and will leave you talking!

If you want real entertainment with rock and roll moves and much more then this is the band for you.

Ballymena born,Jim Spiers came over to England in 1989 and started playing in folk sessions around the Local area with friends. Jim had been brought up surrounded by folk songs and music from both sides of the community in Northern Ireland. After a chance meeting with Ron Newson in a local folk session, Jim and Ron soon struck up a friendship through their love for Irish folk ballads which has grown over the years and lasted from that time to now. Soon the Band ‘Coracle’ (performing here in November) came into the mixing pot. We are lucky enough here at the Poachers Pocket to have the solo talents of Jim’s wide range of vocals, from soft ballads to powerful protest songs with a few comical numbers also. He Loves nothing better than to have what he calls in his native dialect ‘A good Scraiche’ ( Sing Song ).

Gin City is a good time 5 piece blues/jazz band driven by boogie woogie paean on harmonica and guitar.  With roots in early blues and swing, they also take in more contemporary blues and put the Gin City spin on it.  From slow melodic to train fast boogie woogie.

Fine musicianship is seen from Simon Whitney - guitar and harmonica, Bob Gielder - keyboard, James Young - double bass and Keith Froud on drums.  Added to this they have fine vocals from the female singer -Carol Nicholls.

The band has the ability to make you dance and generates a good feeling whenever and wherever they play.  The band thoroughly enjoys playing their music and that shows through to the audience.

The band is one not to be missed.

This young singer-songwriter and guitarist from Norwich and is without doubt an up and coming local talent. He has only recently started to perform at various locations around Norfolk and Suffolk where he has been very well received, with repeat bookings. He played a small session at the ‘Thomson Live’ event last August, where this year he is proudly promoted as a star act on the main stage.

No need for backing music as his superb guitar playing, great vocals plus innovative use of the loop-pedal is all he needs to really make you sit up and listen. For those of you who like Ed Sheeran, Cold play, John Legend, Avicii, Bastille, Oasis, Beatles, Otis Redding etc. come along to the Poachers Pocket and be entertained by Tom's selection and outstanding original material: A young talent to watch for the future.

Tom attended Rocklands primary school near Attleborough, where he played various musical instruments, his favourite at the time being the Trumpet. At the age of 10, along with his family, he moved to Portugal and studied at the International School of the Algarve where later, having never played in public before, was a winner in the Portuguese Algarve singing competition. One of the judges, Bill Elliott of the 70s/80s group ‘Splinter’, was so impressed that he took Tom ‘under his wing’ and mentored him. Over the past few years he has improved enormously and has developed his own unique ‘Thomas Bainbridge’ style.

Tom has himself produced and recorded several of his own songs, some of which you can enjoy on the following websites:

Well known on the Norfolk/Suffolk circuit Carol has sung in trios, duos and at present is lead singer with the Blues/Jazz band Gin City.  She has also been a solo artist for eight years and now concentrates on jazz standards, blues and ballads.  Bringing her own style to many well known songs from many decades of music.

Always performing songs which have meaning to both her and her audience an atmosphere to enjoy a meal or sit and have a drink and bring back some memories is achieved.

Having sung in Corfu and Cyprus at private hotels and restaurants in the Norfolk area, the enjoyment of her audience has always been the most important thing.
