Welcome to Poacher's Pocket

Pub, Restaurant, B&B in Bacton, on Norfolk's unspoilt East Coast

Situated right on the beach, overlooking the sea on the Norfolk coast, the building was originally built as a country house around the 1850's. Gary Stubbs took over the Poachers Pocket in 1994 and was later joined by his wife Caroline. Together they have built their business into the friendly and thriving local attraction we are happy to welcome you to today. This accommodating family pub has much to offer including large bar areas, dart board and pool tables, two large TV screens, weekend live entertainment, upstairs restaurant with sea views (or you can enjoy your meals outside overlooking the sand), fully equipped function room and bed & breakfast with chalet accommodation.

Not only can the Poachers Pocket provide all the coastal delights behind it - they can also boast on having rural views across the front as well.

Dogs welcome in the bar and holiday chalets.

Bacton beach currently holds a Blue Flag for

it's excellent water, which makes it great for

swimming and water sports alike.

It really does make a lovely spot for fishing, the beach provides good all round sport throughout the year with high tides in the

evenings providing the best sport. Good bags of skate can be had during early autumn with codling plentiful in early winter.

And your dogs will love it too .............
................. throughout the seasons!
